Follow these steps to update product content and generate new catalogs:
Click the "Open Product Editor" button above. The editor will open in a new tab with all 589 products.
Click any cell to edit. Update names, descriptions, add custom fields. Press Enter to save changes. Changes auto-save every 30 seconds.
When finished editing, click "Export by Catalog (ZIP)" button. This downloads a file called "mutiara-catalogs-updated.zip".
Email the exported ZIP file to the technical administrator. Include notes about what you changed.
Admin will import your changes using the command: npm run import /path/to/zip
Admin generates updated PDF catalogs with your changes. All 10 catalogs are automatically created with new data.
Your changes are automatically saved every 30 seconds and immediately when you press Enter. No need to click a save button!
Use the search box to quickly find products by model number or name. Use tabs to filter by category or source.
Click "Add Column" to create custom fields like pricing, availability, lead time. Mark them "Show in PDF" to include in catalogs.
Select multiple products (Ctrl/Cmd + Click) and use "Bulk Edit" to update the same field across many products at once.
Always provide both Chinese (name_zh) and English (name_en) names. This ensures catalogs are properly bilingual.
Export your work at the end of each editing session. This creates a backup and allows admin to generate updated PDFs.
